Dr med. Michael Wettstein, Professor (MA), former lecturer and associate physician CHUV (CH), completed his training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at the Vaud University Hospital (CHUV) / Orthopaedic Hospital in Lausanne as well as at the Hospital of Morges. After a fellowship in hip surgery at the Saare University Hospital in Homburg (Germany), he was appointed associate physician and lecturer (MER) in the university service in Lausanne.

Medical Director of the Institut de Traumatologie et d'Orthopédie du Léman Suisse (Swiss Lake Geneva Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics - ITOLS), he pursues clinical, research and teaching activities centred on hip pathologies. He is also a registered doctor at the Rennaz HRC hospital in this field.

Professor Wettstein joined Clinique La Prairie in 2022.
