Our approach

Oculoplasty is a branch of ophthalmic surgery that includes surgical procedures dealing with the eyelids, orbit (eye socket) and tear ducts.

Oculoplasty is a branch of ophthalmic surgery that focuses on surgical procedures involving the eyelids, orbit (eye socket) and tear ducts. These include blepharoplasty (drooping eyelids or pockets caused by excess skin), surgery to correct ptosis (drooping upper eyelids due to a physical malfunction), ectropion (an eyelid that turns outward) and entropion (an eyelid that turns inward), and graft or flap reconstruction following palpebral tumour excision. Other procedures include treatments to resolve problems with the tear ducts (lacrimation) and periocular cosmetic surgery.
