Neurology, a complex internal medicine speciality that deals with diseases of the brain, spinal cord, muscles and peripheral nerves, treats many disorders, such as muscle pains, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraine, epilepsy, as well as chronic sleep and motor disorders. In this context, Clinique La Prairie has close ties with the Neurology Department at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) and with the Neurology Department and Pre-surgical Epilepsy Unit at Geneva University Hospital (HUG).
Specialized memory consultation
This consultation is unique in French-speaking Switzerland and there is strong demand for it. This consultation consists of an in-depth clinical examination, memory tests, combined with an additional specialized examination if necessary.
Epileptology and electroencephalography
Clinique La Prairie is certified until 2020 by la Société Suisse de Neurophysiologie Clinique. On average, Clinique La Prairie receives over 1,000 patients for epileptic monitoring each year.
Cerebrovascular illnesses and neurosonological review
Using highly technical equipment, we record pre-cerebral circulation via ultrasound.
